About the lecturer: he works as a teacher of history, Slovak language and literature at the Turja-Remety General Secondary School (levels I–III) in the Uzhhorod district, Transcarpathian region. He is the head of the school historical and local history museum “History and Everyday Life of the Village of Turja Remety”. In his work, he strives not only to educate but also to inspire, preserve cultural heritage, and improve the educational environment. He considers the connection between education, culture, and spiritual values extremely important, as these three components shape a harmonious and well-rounded personality. He is the author and coordinator of the successful project “Modernization of a Rural School” (2019), which significantly improved the school’s material and technical facilities and enabled the implementation of modern teaching methods. In addition, he has participated in numerous educational initiatives, including the “Pilot 24” project, aimed at exchanging experience and introducing innovations into the educational process. He leads the local branch of the cultural and educational organization “Matica slovenská in Ukraine”. For his work, he has received recognition from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, as well as the St. Gorazd Award from the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic, and became a laureate of the Augustín Vološin Award.
